Time Stood Still … Christina describes
her wedding day as pure bliss.
“ We savoured every minute from the moment we first woke up,” she said.
Christina and Justin’s wedding ceremony took place amid the splendour of the Notre Dame du Sacré Coeur Chapel in Old Montreal. Christina still becomes emotional when she thinks of the ceremony, noting that it reflected not only who they are as a couple but who they will become.
For the celebration overall, they wanted a timeless wedding, one they would cherish for the rest of their lives.
“We opted for a vintage chic theme,” a beaming Christina said, “adding lots of small touches to make our wedding one to remember for our guests.” The colours mint green, ivory and white predominated, set off with gold and silver accents. Abundant bouquets highlighted the simple elegance of white and ivory roses, hydrangeas and orchids and the tall vase table centrepieces were filled with beautiful baby’s breath arrangements. No detail was overlooked, including the thank you notes that were attached to each place card. “And to pay homage to our grandparents who are no longer with us, we set up a table of loving mementos for all to remember them by,” added Justin. “All in all, our wedding day was a forever day.”
