A Soccer Playing Couple Tie the
Knot in Old Port Montreal
– SABRINA & MICHAEL –

Play with your heart not just your feet.
Sabrina and Michael first met in their late teens. The two played soccer and their teams would sometimes have practice matches together. “Sabrina stole my heart the minute I saw her long dark brown hair and left foot soccer skills,” said Michael. “She is a soft hearted person on the inside, but outwardly she is a fierce competitor on the soccer field.”
Michael proposed on a cold November evening in 2017 at the Old Port in Montreal. After hiking on Mount Royal and having dinner together, the couple decided to take a casual stroll to see La Grande Roue, which had recently opened to the public. “I was so surprised when Michael pulled out admission tickets that he had purchased in advance,” said Sabrina. “We got onto the Ferris Wheel to enjoy the breathtaking view but my breath was really taken away when Michael got down on one knee and proposed right in the cabin.”
The couple were married two years later at Saint-Viateur d’Outremont Church, in the presence of their 210 guests. “The most memorable part of our wedding was being able celebrate our love and commitment to one another with our family & friends,” said Sabrina.
