A Lush Jewish Wedding with Purple
Accents & a Jazz Band
– ALLISON & SAMUEL –

Allison and Samuel first met online but a few days earlier, a friend of Allison’s, who was in fact Samuel’s cousin, had suggested introducing them. “Sam knew only of my name, profession and love of yoga, but he quickly realized that I was the same girl,” said Allison. “There is a Jewish word “Bashert” which means destiny or meant to be and that’s how Sam likes to explain our meeting one another.”
The couple hosted a romantic wedding reception at the Beth Israel Beth Aaron Congregation. “We started the reception with the traditional “Hora” folk dance with everyone on the dance floor,” said Allison. “And with a few lessons, we learned to dance the Rumba for our first dance to the song “Someone Like You” by Van Morrison. The whole day seemed to fly by with lots of wonderful moments together and lots of smiles. To see everyone dancing and celebrating our love was truly wonderful.”
“ Dance your way through life, but make sure you know the steps.”
