“We wanted it to be a winter wonderland for all to enjoy.”
Nance and Diogo decided to have a winter wonderland wedding. “Even though it was minus 20 degrees outside, we couldn’t feel the cold,” said Nance. “We were so pumped up with adrenaline and uncontrollable excitement.”
The ceremony and reception were held at Plaza Volaré in Ville St-Laurent. During the Celtic ceremony, each one of Nance’s bridesmaids presented the couple with a coloured ribbon and a blessing. “The decor was simple in traditional winter colours of silver, royal blue, baby blue and dusty pink,” said the bride. “Baby’s breath was incorporated into all the bouquets as well as the table centrepieces to remind us of snowflakes.
