A Classic May Wedding
Filled with Orchids

Cali and Max met in the Summer 2010 at the Y Country Camp (YCC) in Huberdeau Quebec. Max was working as a counsellor for 7 year old boys and Cali was the waterfront beach supervisor. “Max had a camper that was afraid to swim so I gave him a private swimming lesson,” said Cali. “Max joined in to help make sure he would be as comfortable as possible. Thanks to that boy we got to meet!”

Several years later, with the ring stashed in a backpack, Max had plans to propose during a hiking excursion on Mont Tremblant. They took a longer, unfamiliar trail and after having spent some time on the summit, Cali was ready to start the descent. “I had to suggest that we investigate an old lookout point so that I could prepare,” said Max. “When she turned around, I was on bended knee in front of a photographer that I had arranged to hike the trail ahead of time.”

The couple wanted a classy, simple and romantic wedding. “We added tons of candles from Celebrations Group, along with candelabra table centrepieces with white flowers, mainly orchids,” said Cali. “It was the most incredible day of our lives and to have been surrounded by our family and friends was very special.”
