A Rustic Chic Country
Wedding in Quebec
– ISABELLE & MATHIEU –
Isabelle and Mathieu had known one another for five years before their first date. It took place on the very last day of their university studies. The couple later were married on July 8, 2017 at Auberge des Gallant in Ste-Marthe with 102 guests in attendance. “There was a torrential downpour on the morning of our wedding day,” said the bride.
“But nothing in the world could dampen our spirits!”
As luck would have it, the skies cleared the moment the wedding ceremony began. And the couple’s beloved Bernese mountain dog made an impromptu but welcome appearance.
The couple opted for a rustic chic wedding theme, accented with shades of navy blue and antique rose. As a setting for their dream wedding, they filled the reception space with aged oak barrels and wooden crates filled with wine bottles. The wine box theme carried over into the centrepieces, which were paired with gold charger plates to complete the look. The overall effect was both informal and totally glamorous. “It was the best day of our lives, filled with laughter, dancing and love,” said the bride.
