It was the 2nd time, in autumn 2024, and March 11, 2025, beautiful place, clean, service is good and friendly, lunch was great, dinner for the 4 of us was not a success Firstly there is not enough choice on the menu, chicken is missing, a plate of pasta would be nice even a luxury burger would be good, I don't eat fish, I took veal sirloin and my friend did too in passing only veal it will be tender, but not full of tightness, little meat, our partners took quail, never take that, it's as if you had put it on a wood fire, it was calcined dry, and to top it off our vegetables which were limited to a large Brussels sprout and a branch of undercooked broccoli, even with my big meat knife I couldn't cut it, but for all the rest beautiful place, beautiful room, for those who put negative comments on the mattresses it's so personal the comfort of the mattresses I liked

We just spent December 24 and December 25, two nights, a family group. We bought a package that included meals. I had explained early on, before checking in that my Dad has stage 4 cancer. We think it could be his last Christmas. I asked the reception if they could make it special. She explained that with our package we get a gift of wine in our room. I explained that my Dad doesn’t drink alcohol, he’s been sober for years. She said that would replace it with something else. What hurt me is that they showed absolutely no empathy, didn’t even attempt to make it more special. We were all disappointed really.

We got married 2 months ago at the Auberge des Gallant. Preparing for the wedding was very easy with the help of Eugenie, our coordinator, who was very professional and receptive to our messages and requests.

However, the night before the wedding, we were woken up twice by fire alarms where we were asked to evacuate outside in the extreme cold for 1.5 hours. We barely had 2-3 hours of sleep before our wedding. We subsequently asked for a discount on our room given the inconvenience and lack of sleep, but this was refused.

Then on the day of the wedding, we were told that we would have access to the room from 8 a.m. to come and install everything. Since we had makeup and hair to do from 10 a.m., we asked to have access from 7 a.m. but this was refused since there was a wedding the evening before and everything had to be cleaned in the morning. of our marriage. So we headed out at 8 a.m. to find a locked room, with all the decorations from the previous wedding still in place, glass and cigarettes everywhere on the floor where the cocktail was supposed to be. We contacted Eugénie who did not respond by phone or email, then called reception 3 times before having a team arrive on site at 8:30 a.m. to start cleaning. We were asked to leave the room while the floor was being washed and dried. So I didn't have time to place the room the way I would have liked it. My bridesmaids got everything set up while I went to get my hair done. It was a very stressful and chaotic morning. Not forgetting that while we were setting up the room, Eugenie arrived with a couple for a visit. I was in total panic without support from the Auberge team.

Despite everything, the staff was more than excellent once the ceremony and the evening began. The wedding was more than perfect, which made up for our day which had started badly. The staff at the bar and table service were incredible, we had positive comments from all our guests about the good service offered.

Bonjour! Il y a trente ans, nous avons fêté notre 20E anniversaire de mariage à votre auberge. Tellement un beau souvenir que nous avons renouvelé l’expérience le 26 octobre pour notre 50E cette année. Nous avons pris le forfait gastronomique à 224$ chacun occupation double plus 50$ durant la fin de semaine (500$). À l’arrivé, la jeune fille avait un tcheart ordinaire très froissé. À la chambre, dans la salle de bain pas de ventilateur, cadrage du miroir très, très abimé, papier de toilette très cheap et serviette de bain avec un trou. Pour le souper, William nous a bien conseillé, nous avons acheté deux demi bouteille de vin, un blanc et un rouge. L’entrée aux crevettes et fenouil était bonne mais tiède. Le plat principal, le médaillon de cerf était froid, les patates froides et la nourriture tiède même si l’assiette était chaude. Le dessert un minuscule gâteau fondant au chocolat platement présenté dans une assiette. Nous avons pris le café Cappucino Gallant tellement bon nous en avons pris deux chacun. Le brunch du dimanche était bon mais les assiettes pour nous servir étaient froides refroidissant ainsi la nourriture. Nous sommes à la retraite, nous sommes des gens dans le bas de la classe moyenne, nous ne faisons pas ce genre de dépense ordinairement, mais pour un 50E anniversaire de mariage pour nous, c’était exceptionnelle. Je dois vous avouer que nous sommes déçus, le rapport qualité prix n’était pas au rendez-vous.
